NTune On-Ear Headphones ($130) Although these headphones are smaller than the popular on-ear Beats by Dre, it doesn’t short change users on high-performance audio or style. These on-ear earphones, which are part of Monster + Nick Cannon’s NCredible Entertainment Lifestyle Products, offer comfort and durability as well. It comes equipped with ControlTalk Universal capabilities, which provides simple music playback control for most Android and Blackberry models, as well as hands-free calling with various smartphones. Cannon, who is recovering from his recent hospitalization for mild-kidney failure, Skyped into the press event saying people will see his headphones in various places, from music videos shown on networks like BET and MTV to the feature film he’s directing.
Nergy In- Ear Headphones ($70) Expect big sound from these lightweight, compact headphones, also from the Monster + Nick Cannon’s NCredible Entertainment Lifestyle Products. The highlight of this in-ear model is their unique Nergy ear buds, which snap together magnetically to create a necklace when not being used. Also, another great feature is their tangle-free cables. Like the NTune headphones, these are available for purchase now. Cannon is happy about the latest partnership. “I am so thrilled to be partnering with a company like Monster, which has such a strong commitment to great sound and to providing the very best music listening experiences possible,” the 31-year-old entrepreneur said.
Diamond Tears-Edge High Definition Headphones ($280) In a partnership with J.Y. Park, music producer and founder of JYP Entertainment (JYPE), Monster offers fashion forward users a sleek design paired with stellar sound. These headphones will be available in the first quarter of 2012, while a new in-ear version is scheduled to be on sale in the latter half of the year.
iSport In-Ear Headphones ($180) These sweat-proof earphones are designed to withstand even the most strenuous exercises. Its unique patented proprietary in-ear clip anchor system hugs the curve of the inner ear securely so that they don’t slip out of place. The “no-slip fit” is assisted by the special adjustable ear pipe, which conforms to the unique angles of each ear and helps create a perfect fit. The washable headphones will debut in a variety of different colors, themes and models in the coming months.
iSport LIVESTRONG Headphones ($180) Monster also unveiled this bright yellow model of the iSport earphones, available nationwide and online at RadioShack starting in February 2012. A portion of the proceeds from sales will be donated to the Lance Armstrong Foundation.
Inspiration ($280) The company introduced its first over-ear, noise-canceling headphones—available in titanium or pearl white finish. What makes the fashionable earphones even more appealing is the ability to swap the headbands at your leisure. The interchangeable headbands, available in eight different colors, will retail separately at $30. All will be available starting in Spring 2012. It’s sister product, the Inspiration Lite on-ear headphones, will be available in pearl white in June for $230.
VekTr On-Ear Headphones ($250) The first release from fashion brand Diesel and Monster’s partnership under the recently established Diesel Noise Division, boasts crisp audio sound with edgy aesthetic appeal. VekTr ditches the traditional round on-ear headphones for the signature diamond-cut Diesel logo on each ear cup (add a Mohican head on each, too), as well as touches of contrasting black, grey, and brushed aluminum and different finishes (shiny, matte, and rubberized paint). It’s set to launch this quarter and will be distributed in retail outlets worldwide. The in-ear version will be available for $150.
Gratitude In-Ear Headphones ($230) Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductees Earth, Wind & Fire have partnered with Monster to create noise-isolation, rose gold headphones. The high-performance headphone manufacturer notes the natural and pulsating listening experience delivered from these earphones is brought on by a new design that lets the earpiece rest more comfortably and deeper within the wearer’s ear canal.
